Top Ten Dresses
The results are in and the top ten dresses have been more or less decided by the public. With inspiration from the Screen Actor’s Guild Awards of 2008, we shall take a look at what caught the eyes of onlookers. Number ten would be Keisha Whitaker’s very pale pink dress was deemed pretty. Following is Rebecca Gayheart in a lipstick red strapless get up that surely got our attention. Next is America Ferrera who stuns with deep blues and greens topped off with a grey shoulder chiffon. Ellen Page did well with her black chic fluttery cap sleeved dress.
Following Page, Sara Ramirez surprises us with her tasteful fuschia and lavender fishtail mermaid dress, a winner. Then is Kyra Sedgwick sporting a classic sparkly dress with large blond locks. Number four brings us Cate Blanchett, who successfully breaks all fashion rules by black, white, green and pink print strapless outfit. A breathtaking number three is Debra Messing in her gold and encrusted roman style gown.
Getting ever closer to the Screen Actor’s Guild Awards of 2008 fashion “winner”, number two would have to be Kate Beckinsale in a dress by the obscure Italian designer Luisa Beccaria. A gown in pale buttercup which nicely compliments her skin, Beckinsale’s hair combined with the gown makes for a perfect runner up. Drumroll, please. Number one in all this is actually a tie! Angelina Jolie in a soft Roman style flowing gown neither beats nor cedes to Ellen Pompeo in a Nina Ricci masterpiece; fragmented like a diamond. What a stunning selection of this year’s top ten dresses.
