Designer Clothing Gone Wild

January 3rd, 2010 admin No comments

This season, Macys and othere department stores put the price tags of many designers brand lower than ever somthing that made many desigenr unhappy. Say Michael Cores line is on 75% off, why whould people ever pay regular price tag few weeks later. Its hard to keep a price off 100$ for a palan shirt when few times a year its on sell for $19.99.

I think we’ll see the efect in about 3 month where designer clothes will be selling about 20% cheapr on the MSRP. My advice is very simple. If you like a perticular shirt, buy it now. if you missed it, wait, the next collection. It will be cheaper.

Why Women Need So Many Shoes

July 21st, 2008 joe No comments

Let’s face it guys and gals, women are absolutely, madly in love with purchasing shoes and several pairs of them. Women in history are the classic embodiment of keeping good fashion in mind and with fashion comes the need for variation and differentiation. In other words, it is hard for a woman to keep in style or current fashion without a selection of attractive shoes. Maybe even more so than other articles of clothing, for this simple reason, shoes are immensely popular with female consumers more so than men.

Imagine this craze of shoe buying from the perspective of a shoe store owner. By owning a business already, you have the wherewithal to invest in a good inventory of shoes. Keeping current fashions in mind, stocking the right shoes means a plethora of women customers barraging your store for the latest fashion in shoes. This is not only keeping up with the Joneses as they say, it also involves buying multiple pairs of shoes. The same cannot be said of all types of clothing, both stylish men and fashionable women do not need as many shirts or pants, for example.

Clearly, if you are at all involved in wholesale buying and retail reselling, the reasons for dealing in shoes is quite obvious. By selling shoes you will be dealing in one of the most hot commodities among consumers. As shoes are not only a necessity but also a fashion statement, both of these factors compound each other to make for an ideal selling point.

Guide to Safely Buying Wholesale

July 18th, 2008 joe No comments

Are you purchasing items wholesale or considering it? The beauty of wholesale buying is that it is the cornerstone of all retail, basically all things that are bought and sold. Product manufacturers, for instance, produce items in large quantities so that middlemen such as retail stores can purchase high-volume lots of the items and sell to consumers at retail prices for a profit. It’s the manner in which manufacturers flourish and the manner in which stores and other businesses can keep afloat by dealing between the factory and the individual retail consumer.

However, similar to anything else that deals with the exchange of money, there is fraud present in the wholesale industries. Most common is the online wholesale supplier, with an offer that is too good to be true, and often time it really is too good to be true. Some will promise a great deal and once you have sent off the money, you no longer hear from the scammers pushing these deals. Surely many individuals and businesses have lost money attempting to get affordable merchandise out of said scammers.

Again, like with anything else having to do with money, you must do your homework before dealing with an unknown party so that you do not get scammed. Being that many already have been swindled, one response is the Wholesale Buying Guide. A guide written by Nelson Chow, the Wholesale Buying Guide will give you tips and pointers on what to look for and ultimately what to avoid when buying wholesale.

Buying Wholesale to Resell on eBay

July 15th, 2008 joe 1 comment

The way in which most anyone can make money by selling products is quite simple. One method, wholesale buying, involves purchasing a large set amount of items from a wholesale distributor. The number of items typically comes in dozens, hundreds, or even more, in other words, the number of items of which your usual store shopper does not need so many. The incentive of a business to do this is both feasible and attractive. By buying in bulk or wholesale, the cost per item greatly decreases and this allows the items to be sold individually at a higher price so that a worthwhile profit can be made.

You might think that only a big business would have the finances, space, and other infrastructure to be able to purchase items wholesale so that they can be resold at a retail value. The fact is, many individuals are doing the same thing right out of their own homes! You can start with finding one item you’d like to sell, research on the internet where you might be able to purchase a bulk amount of the items at a low cost-per-item rate, and there you go. It’s true that most of us have unused space in our homes, so clear out a corner of space in your home where the items can be stored.

Now, what to do with this large amount of items? One great way for both individuals and businesses to resell these items is to do it on eBay. Set up a seller’s account on eBay.com and then search around the site to see what others are selling the item for. If you’re able to beat the competition’s price, you’ll be in business!

3 Simple Tips For Buying Quality Clothing At Bargain Prices

April 18th, 2008 joe No comments

While many associate price with quality, particularly when buying clothing, that is not always the case. You don’t have to spend excessively to get quality clothing. Careful shopping can help you to take full advantage of the savings potentials offered by wholesale clothing and liquidation sellers. Clothing liquidation sellers often supply discount chains with their selection of low priced items, which is why such retailers can price their stock so competitively. Shoppers with a sharp eye for detail and who know what to look for can really save quite a significant amount on their clothing needs. Here are 3 simple tips to help you buy quality clothes at bargain prices:

  1. Check the seams. Turn the garment inside out and carefully look over the seams. You’ll be looking for two things. First, you want to make sure that the main stitching of the seams have been done well, straight and strong. Next, you’ll want to see the edging of the overhang, called the seam allowance, checking to see what, if anything, has been done to prevent raveling or fraying. The seam edges of a well-made article of clothing, one that will last, will have been run through a serger, rolled and stitched, or – in a more old-school style — have a line of zigzag stitching.
  2. Inspect the fabric. You’re going to make sure that the color is even throughout and make sure that there are no stains or small tears. Sometimes, as a store shuts down and its stock is packed up for a clothing liquidator, items can be dirtied or damaged during the process. Some discount retail stores have things packed so tightly together on the racks, that things fall to the floor as customers look through. Later the stock people return them to the racks, often not noticing footprints, dust, dirt, or other damage.
  3. Look at all buttons and try all zippers. Make sure all the buttons are on the garment. If buttons are missing from a well-made, nicely priced garment, and you don’t have a problem spending a couple of dollars at the sewing store for new buttons and putting them on, bring it to the attention of the manager. You may get an even deeper discount on that item. Be sure to try all zippers and look to make sure that they’ve been properly sewn in.

When you know how to choose well-made clothing that will last beyond a few trips through the washer and dryer, then you can take advantage of the prices made possible by clothing liquidation and wholesale clothing sellers. Whether you buy directly from a liquidator or wholesale clothing dealer or shop at a discount retailer that gets their stock from such sellers, you stand to save a significant amount of money and are sure to get the most for your clothing dollar.
